My name is Mauro Alberti, and I have more than a decade of experience with scientific, technical applications and GIS programming
and analysis.
My specialization is in creating applications with Python and Qt,
mainly for the Oil & Gas (e.g., OpenGEO) and finance sectors.
I used both commercial products such as ArcView 3, ArcGIS 9, ENVI, Matlab, and recently open-source tools such as GRASS, Saga, Quantum GIS, OpenJUMP,
Mirone, R and mySQL.
I provide services for professional studios, organisations and individuals (e.g., PhD students with challenging GIS/Earth Sciences problems are welcome).
